Now that your new web site is completed, it’s ready for you to add your ‘personal touches’.

Every business website will benefit greatly from being kept current and be promoted.

Here’s some ideas for you:

  1. Write a monthly article about what your business can do for your customers – or just providing some free information. I’m a great believer in giving away information and advice, you’d be surprised how customers appreciate you taking the time to do this. They come back – repeat business for you. They tell others – new business for you!
  2. Have a ‘News’ category – place upcoming special offers, discounts, end of line markdown promotions or just tell your customers about a new product or service you provide.
  3. If we have incorporated a gallery of products in your new site, then regularly upload fresh images to it.
  4. As well as referrals from search engines, it pays to promote your new website in other ways – newspaper advertisements, inclusion in online directories of similar businesses, flyers and mailouts. It all helps.
